VAT treatment depends on the product, destination and applicable sales process.
For LEIBISH Fine Jewellery & Diamonds, applicable VAT and import charges are calculated and included in the final DDP quotation provided before payment.
Import Duties & Taxes
For orders shipped to the United States of America, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Australia, Taiwan, Canada, South Korea, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom , all applicable import duties and taxes are included in the prices displayed on the website. No additional payment should normally be required from the customer at the time of delivery.
LEIBISH Fine Jewellery & Diamonds follow a separate DDP quotation process and are not completed through the standard checkout. Applicable duties, VAT/GST, customs charges and destination-country taxes are calculated based on the delivery destination and included in the final DDP quotation and Proforma Invoice provided before payment.
For orders shipped to all other countries, additional charges, including but not limited to customs duties, import taxes, and local administrative fees, may apply. Such charges are the responsibility of the customer and may, depending on the destination country:
- be calculated and paid during checkout, where available;
- be requested by the appointed courier prior to delivery;
- or paid to Italian Luxury Group before delivery.
The applicable treatment of duties and taxes, including any inclusion of such charges in the purchase price, will be communicated to the customer before delivery.
This section does not apply to LEIBISH Fine Jewellery & Diamonds, which follow the separate DDP quotation process described above.
For shipments to non-EU countries, where the recipient refuses delivery, Italian Luxury Group reserves the right to deduct from any refund all duties, taxes, customs charges, return shipping costs, and any related administrative or handling fees incurred . A minimum deduction of €100, in addition to any applicable return shipping costs, may apply. Customers are invited to consult the Returns & Refunds Policy for further information.
